The table is round. Everyone has something to learn and everyone has something to give. Here is what a week, a month, a quarter, and a year look like when you take your seat.
We meet weekly on Zoom, cameras on. Connection and prayer have their own room before we start, so the ninety minutes at the core stay on your business.
| When | Room | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 30 min before | The Open Table | The room opens early. No agenda. Talk, catch up, be heard. Come or don't. |
| 7 min before | The Prayer | Unhurried prayer for the men, their families, and the week ahead. |
| The first minutes | The Gathering | The credo, read by one man. We begin on time. |
| Next 10 | The Watch | Does anyone have a fire? Only a man who has one speaks. A real fire can take the Chair's time. |
| Next 50 | The Chair | One man brings his real business problem. His prep sheet went out the day before. He lays it out in five minutes, then fifteen minutes of questions only, no advice and no stories. Then the table says what it is noticing. He leaves with what he heard and his one move. |
| Next 15 | Take Ground | Sixty seconds a man: what ground did you take, what ground will you take next. Your needle line is already in. |
| Last 5 | The Sending | One prayer for the man in the Chair and any fires. One charge. The meeting rates itself, one to ten. |
Nobody speaks because it is his turn. Outside of Take Ground, men speak when they have something real to say.
The Chair is the heart of the table. Three weeks a month, one man sits in it. The fourth week the middle of the gathering goes to one foundational theme worked through the men's real situations, a guest, or a hard look at whether we are succeeding at the right things.
A one-page prep sheet, sent a day ahead: the situation, what he has tried, what he is afraid of, the decision in front of him.
Fifteen minutes of questions only. The best answer is often hiding under the third question, not the first.
He names what he heard and his one move. Next week, the table asks how it went.
A man does not drift all at once. He drifts a week at a time. The rhythm keeps what you believe, how you live, and what you are building lined up.
A few honest questions before each gathering, and the one line on your needle.
What you set out to take this month, and what actually moved.
Your numbers and your charges for the next ninety days, reviewed with the table.
Who am I becoming? The year in full, and the man you intend to be next.
Your Bearing, the Chair schedule, prep sheets, recordings, and the resources of the Alliance, all in one private place.
A standing monthly block with the founders for the decision that cannot wait for your turn in the Chair.
In-person time together during the year, because some things only happen around a fire.
Every member starts with a private conversation.
